BRUSH MOWER START-UP SERVICE

Service Description

Like all outdoor power equipment brush mowers need periodic maintenance, engines have filters that need to be changed, oil that needs to be changed, things need to be cleaned and lubricated as well as various adjustments to the controls and brakes so that expensive parts don't wear faster then they should leading to costly repairs needing parts not normally stocked and take time to get. A brush mower service will look something like this and vary slightly from machine to machine, any minor repairs will be made within the service anything outside the service is parts and labor based on manufacturer labor times. - All covers and guards are removed, and engine cooling fins are cleaned. -Check and tighten nuts and bolts (tightening bolts is a maintenance item) -Oil change using small engine-specific oil meeting the high heat demands of air-cooled small engines, and quality OEM or Aftermarket filters -Valve adjustment, an often dismissed service item that greatly effects starting, performance, and engine running temps. -Fuel system drain, flush and fill with Sunoco optima 95 ethanol-free fuel. -Carburetor cleaning and repair (I clean or repair OEM carbs here I do not use aftermarket carbs nor will I repair an aftermarket carb if one was installed previously.) -Grease and lubricate idler arms, bearings, cables, and grease fittings. -Make any and all adjustments per manufacturer recommendations. -Clean the cutting deck, sharpen the blade, and coat the deck in Fluid Film a non-toxic lanolin-based rust inhibitor that slows the rusting process and will keep dirt and grass from sticking to the deck for some time. -Check all belts and bearings -Test run and adjust engine Idle, governed idle, and top no load speeds using a tachometer and to manufacturer specs. -Check the charging system and load test on the battery using a scan tool that measures the internal resistance of your battery (something basic load testers won't due) -Test of machine over function -Quick spray wax of the machine and tire protectant sprayed on the tires (this will increase the life expectancy of your tires. Tires are very expensive and require labor to install them) -All minor repairs will be made within the service anything major outside the service is parts and labor based on manufacturer labor times. -Brush mower service is $200.00 Plus parts and product.
