Chainsaw (non-running) Start-up service

Service Description

All 2-cycle equipment that comes here in a non-running condition gets a compression test and inspection of the cylinder using a bore scope so we are not wasting our time or YOUR money trying to repair a piece of equipment that is not capable of running due to a mechanical failure (cylinder scoring or piston damage) -Compression test/cylinder inspection -remove all covers and guards -Thorough cleaning -Carburetor removal, inspection, and cleaning and rebuild if necessary, pump fuel containing ethanol is a major issue for 2-cycle equipment, we do not replace carburetors with cheap aftermarket carburetors that are poorly built and not jetted properly leading to costly engine failures. We diagnose OEM carbs and repair them using OEM parts directly from the carburetor manufacturer, not the equipment manufacturer. -After the saw is cleaned and inspected it is then reassembled cleaning or replacing air filters and fuel filters -NGK spark plugs are used. -Fuel tanks are emptied and filled with properly mixed ethanol-free fuel using a quality synthetic 2-cycle oil -Chains are hand sharpened including filing the rakers. a dull chain will destroy your engine as fast as an engine that is not properly tuned. -Saws are then test run warmed up and idle, low side mix screw and high side mix screw are properly adjusted using a tachometer and following manufacture tuning procedures. -We then test-run them in the wood verifying good power and throttle response. A 2 cycle engine that is not running well, lacks power or bogs is most likely running lean and hot quickly damaging your engine to the point of very costly repairs!!!!!
